Kids have the most vivid, amazing imaginations. Isn’t it wonderful when you can encourage that imagination? Now Jhawkins14 over at instructables.com has posted an awesome guide for building a backyard fort for your kids – but not just any fort, a Western Saloon fort!
This fort is built from commonly available fencing boards, but if you are on more of a budget I think it could easily be adapted and built from reclaimed pallets and old timber.

Just be sure to use heat treated pallets, rather than the chemically treated ones.
I think it would just be a bit nicer and safer for the kids. if you want this for more of a adult fort 🙂 then just increase the dimensions to suit your situation. check out this great blog below to see how to build this project.
